fossil or faucet

The other day in science we began talking about rocks and fossils. I asked if students knew what a fossil was? One girl raised her hand and said, "The thing that water comes out of by a sink." I had to smile as I corrected her and said, "That is a faucet, we are talking about fossil - they do sound a lot a like."
