This weekend was our school's annual basketball tournament. Today they played the final games. The girls played for 3rd or 4th place and the boys played in the chapionship game. Boy were these games 2 awesome games. The girls lost their game - but really played hard. They were ahead about 3 quarters -and lost it due to lots of fouling and the other team making the free throws. The boys won by 1 point. Boy was it exciting!!!! They were behind about 3 quarters (just the opposite of the girls) and then caught up. This was the 1st time in 18 years of hosting the tournament that the boys were ever in the championship game.
Michael and Emily both had a difficult time settling down to go to sleep - I can't blame them. It was a great game!!! Way to go Panthers!!!
